Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, as well as a television host at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they were leaving the show, in May 2021. They wanted to create their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. As of 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball says that her fascination with politics due to the fact that she became pregnant during the 2008 primaries and also watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to see the effect the election had on the people in her country and was moved to see the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District during the 2010 election. But she lost to Rob Wittman. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works on behalf of Democratic causes.
