Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her numerous roles on the FX horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021) are among her most famous. For her role as Portia in the Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe has also been seen on television in The Whispers (2015) and The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021), and The First Lady (2022). In 2001, Rabe made her screen debut with her mother Jill Clayburgh in the film Never Again. She also made her professional stage appearance opposite her mother at the Gloucester Stage Company of Massachusetts. She starred in two one-act plays, Speaking Well of the Dead by Israel Horovitz and The Crazy Girl by Frank Pugliese,roles that helped her obtain an Equity Card. In 2003, she was back at the Gloucester Stage Company to star in Proof by David Auburn. In 2003, she appeared also in the film Mona Lisa Smile. The actress returned to New York shortly after she finished her studies. Deirdre O'Connor's White Jesus was her first-act play. It was part of a show known as The Democracy Project, presented by the Naked Angels Theater Company.
